La Chemoliere has been lovingly restored and retains many of the original features such as exposed oak beams, stonewalls and large stone fireplace. 

The living room is a delight with the room being cool on hot sunny days and warm on cool winter nights due to the 2 feet thick stone walls, the large area (31feet x 21feet) is separated into a lounge area and dining area by low stone walls.
 
  The lounge has a 3 piece suite, wood burning stove and lovely original features like exposed oak beams, restored stone fireplace, original stone sink and stone floor tiles.  For inside entertainment there are hundreds of books to read, a cupboard full of indoor games, satellite television and dvd/video with dvd/video library and a cd/radio/cassette player
 

The dining area has exposed stone walls.  There is an old farmhouse dining table with 6 dining chairs making an ideal setting for candle lit dinners.
  The kitchen is newly installed in a traditional French country style with limed cupboards with an olive trim and terracotta floor tiles. The work surfaces comprise of glazed French olive colour tiles.  Included in the kitchen is a white double ceramic sink, large 5 ring gas cooker, fridge, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher.
 
  This is truly a cook’s kitchen with every perceivable implement available to produce delicious meals for al fresco dining on the vine covered patio area.
During your stay fresh organic fruit and vegetables are available for picking free of charge from the “potager” (vegetable garden) also available are fresh chicken eggs.
There is nothing quite like the taste of vegetables picked moments before cooking. Depending on the season the following should be available – tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, melons, strawberries, asparagus, potatoes, French beans, artichokes, sweet corn, leeks, cabbages, carrots, beetroot, peas, mange tout to name a few).  There is also a herb garden right outside the kitchen door for you to use too. 
A welcome food and drink hamper will be here on arrival.  An evening meal or snack can also be available for your arrival on request.
From the living area there is an old oak staircase leading to the upstairs 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.
 
  They comprise of 2 large bedrooms fitted with farmhouse antique furniture, one bedroom will have en-suite shower, washbasin and toilet and the other will have en-suite bath/shower, washbasin and toilet.  Linen and Towels are available free of charge if you require them.
 
  Outside there are various patio areas to provide shade or sun depending on your mood.  Outside the kitchen door there is a low walled dining area with iron pergola, which is covered with grape vines.  The patio includes dining table and chairs, bbq and a chiminea wood-burning stove for the cooler nights, ideal for al fresco dining and star gazing at the multitude of stars you will see on the clear summer nights.  Alternatively retreat to the shade of our 200 year old pear tree and read one of the hundreds of books available.
 
  The rest of the area includes old bread oven with large shaded patio area covered in and grape vines and kiwi fruit, stone barn, vegetable and fruit garden. There is a 4.5m x 1.5m above the ground plunge pool, a wood and 11 acres of land to explore. There are plenty of lawns to use the many outside games that are available (the rest of the land is cultivated fields which may have sunflowers, sweet corn or arable crops growing).
 
  The quarter of a mile driveway from the road ensures you will have a peaceful and tranquil stay away from it all, but close to all the amenities that you may require and centrally located for all the abundance of attractions that this unspoilt area offers, if you manage to drag yourself away from La Chemoliere.
